Route to Professional Engineer
The workshop will cover the following
- Purpose of Enhanced Professional Interview Process
- Guidelines for Professional Interview
- Presentation at the Interview
- This dialogue is to serve as a clarification session for “would-be” Corporate Members. All graduate members are encouraged to attend thedialogue and to apply for the Professional Interview thereafter. Members who are interested to participate are requested to return the reply slip to the IEM Secretariat by 12th October 2018 together with the commitment fee payable to The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, Negeri Sembilan Branch.
Please note that the commitment fee must be settled prior to the events.

Ir. Fam Yew Hin, is a registered Professional Engineer with BEMand a Coprporate Member of IEM. Graduated with Mechanical Engineering Degree from University of Sheffield, Ir. Fam during 20 years, has served in the National Utility, Independent Power Producers as well as with the regulator. He has also obtained a Diploma in Financial Management and received award of world best result from ACCA.
Ir. Fam has been actively involved in IEM activities. He’s the Chairman of Membership Drive & Promotion Sub Committee, immediate past Chairman and committee member to the Mechanical Engineering Technical Division.

Ir. Chen Harn Shean, graduated with B.Eng (Civil) from Universiti Malaya and M.Eng (Geotech) from National University of Singapore (NUS).
He is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (M.IEM) and a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in both Malaysia & Singapore. He has more than twenty (20) years of experience in the engineering consultancy and construction industry. He is currently a Director in a consultancy firm, AC Haimi Sdn Bhd.
