TUANKU JA'AFAR POWER STATION, PORT DICKSON

This power facility is wholly owned by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and its operations are managed by TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd (TNB Genco), a wholly-owned subsidiary. It boasts a substantial total generation capacity of 1,411 Megawatts (MW). The plant employs modern and efficient Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) technology, primarily using natural gas as its fuel source. A key operational feature is its dual-fuel capability, which provides operational flexibility by allowing it to seamlessly switch to distillate fuel in the event of an interruption to the natural gas supply.
